The following items have been completed in 2006 :
- Cut smokebox rivets
- Repair front tube sheet
- Remove super heater & throttle casing studs
- Cut & remove boiler studs
- Repair steam chest at saddle
- Install Smokebox rivet
The following work is ongoing and has been partially completed :
- Remove waist sheet bolts or rivets
- Remove boiler from frame
- Remove mud ring to repair
- Repair smokebox
- Clean, inspect & repair boiler checks
- Clean, inspect & repair dry pipes
- Machine new super heater header/throttle casting studs
- Repair water injector system
- Machine new saddle bolts
- Inspect & repair staybolt holes
- Remove locomotive brake rigging
- Clean, inspect & repair power reverser
- Clean, inspect & repair locomotive frame
- Remove spring rigging
- Clean, inspect & repair trail truck journal boxes
- Dismantle booster engine
- Clean, inspect & repair booster engine
- Clean, inspect & repair trail truck
- Repair throttle casting
- Clean & reset throttle valves
- Clean Inspect & repair super heater
- Clean, inspect & repair turrent header
- Rebuild hydro lubricator
- Fabricate boiler stand
- Clean, test & repair super heaters
- Install boiler studs
- Primer outside of boiler
- Fabricate huron plogs & sleeves
- Install huron plugs & sleeves
- Prmer outside of firebox
The following items were started and partially completed in 2006
- Remove valve head studs
- Machine new staybolts
- Replace worn flexible sleeves
- Repair boiler barrel
- Install new super heater header header/throttle casting studs
- Install smokebox liner
